Overview

We are immediately seeking an experienced and highly-successful Sales Professional to fill our Senior Account Executive position. This coveted role is our most senior Sales position and serves as the main point of contact for our largest and most strategic clients.

As Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for bringing new business from SMB prospects in Tri-State area. Become a trusted advisor and partner, vs. “just another vendor,” to cultivate long-term relationships and maximize value to the prospect.

You will be primarily dealing with business owner, CEO, President, Partner, COO or CFO to address their IT security, infrastructure and technical/IT support needs.

To be successful in this position, you must possess a consultative sales approach. Be able to influence and manage internal, as well as client resources. Clearly and effectively present new ideas and concepts. Have a proven track record of successfully closing high-revenue technology solutions. Experienced in positioning consulting, professional, and managed services; and able to comfortably discuss these technologies in order to identify new opportunities, build a pipeline and advance these new projects to a successful close in order to meet/exceed sales expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify the key/appropriate decision makers from targeted businesses
  • Develop rapport to position you and American Tech Pros as a true technology partner
  • Intimately understand client landscape – services used, competitors, key contacts, politics, etc.
  • Identify ongoing opportunities and build pipeline of qualified projects for continued growth
  • Leverage all resources for pre/post-sales support to maximize close ration and client satisfaction
  • Be able to have effective business conversations to understand needs and relevant solutions

Characteristics of our Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrated success selling IT, Payroll, Software, Telephone, Copier or any other complex service engagements to 10 to 200 employee companies in NY, NJ and PA.
  • Experience selling IT solutions, managed services, support/help desk, Cloud, Data Center, etc.
  • Success-driven, winning attitude, and able to form solid business relationships at C-level
  • Ability to effectively penetrate, grow and manage multiple opportunities and advance to close.

The role is key in ensuring that our deliverables are accurately aligned with end-user requirements and market conditions and are subjected to the highest levels of quality control measures. Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing and translating functional requirements from the product/biz team into development tasks and test strategies/plans
  • Performing competition analysis and market research and provide relevant inputs to product teams
  • Validating and performing user acceptance testing on sprint/milestone deliverables
  • Managing the sprint retrospective and lessons learned meetings and incorporating their outputs into future iterations

Desired Skills and Experience

Candidate Requirements:
